You know your Bible, and you know your sense of humor is not for the faint of heart. This one's for the person who sits in the front pew, quotes Genesis chapter and verse, and still manages to make everyone at brunch spit out their coffee. If you've ever tried to explain the Binding of Isaac to someone who just stared blankly at you, this design does the talking for you.
A stone sacrificial altar sits center stage, etched and weathered like it's been waiting since Abraham left the house. Crossed leather straps with brass buckles lay over the altar's surface, a blindfold rests above it, and a bundle of firewood is stacked below — every detail pulled straight from Genesis 22:9. The text arcs boldly overhead: "I Like My Men Like Isaac: Bound & Blindfolded." It is equal parts scripture study and comedy special, delivered with the confidence of someone who has absolutely read the footnotes.
Why people love it:
Scripture Accuracy: Every visual element maps directly to Genesis 22:9 — this is theological homework done with a wink.
Artisan Detail: A gritty, vintage illustrative style gives the altar, straps, and firewood serious visual weight — this is not a lazy meme, it's a full composition.
Perfectly Timed Punchline: The joke lands hardest on people who actually know the story, rewarding the biblically literate with an immediate gut laugh.
Unapologetic Boldness: It does not hedge, whisper, or apologize — it puts the joke on full display for everyone to either get or Google.
Conversation Starter: Whether you're at a church potluck or a comedy club, this one is guaranteed to generate a reaction from every direction.
Perfect for: Bible study drop-outs • church humor lovers • bold faith-adjacent friends • anyone who makes the pastor nervous
After all, Abraham was just following orders — you're just following your sense of humor.
