Breakfast just got haunted, and honestly? It was overdue. If your morning routine involves ignoring every wellness trend ever invented and eating cereal with the enthusiasm of a cartoon specter diving headfirst into a bowl of milk, this one was made for you. No kale. No probiotics. Just pure, unfiltered ectoplasm.
"Ghost Flakes" is a dead-on parody of vintage cereal box art — retro typography in bold orange and teal, a grinning translucent ghost bursting out of a cereal bowl like he owns the place, corn flakes flying everywhere, milk splashing with reckless abandon, and the no-nonsense tagline: 100% Pure Ectoplasm . It's the cereal mascot your therapist would warn you about, rendered in gorgeous old-school illustration style that hits equal parts nostalgia and absurdist humor. This design celebrates the chaotic, the silly, and the gloriously unnecessary — and it does it before 8 AM.
Why people love it:
Retro Gold: Spot-on vintage cereal box aesthetic that'll make every '80s and '90s kid do a double-take.
Paranormal Punchline: The "100% Pure Ectoplasm" tagline lands every single time — no explanation needed, no context required.
Mascot Energy: That ghost is absolutely feral with joy, and we respect that deeply.
Conversation Starter: Guaranteed to make strangers laugh, ask questions, or slowly back away — all equally valid outcomes.
Artisan Detail: Richly illustrated with textured vintage printing effects that make it look like it fell off a 1987 grocery store shelf.
Perfect for: Halloween lovers year-round • cereal obsessives • fans of absurdist humor • nostalgic pop culture nerds
They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day — Ghost Flakes just made it the most haunted.
